MGate 5216 Series EtherCAT industrial Ethernet gatewaysconvert data between Modbus RTU/ASCII, proprietary serial and EtherCATprotocols. All models are protected by a rugged metal housing, areDIN-rail mountable, and offer built-in serial isolation.

Modbus is one of the most widelyused industrial communication protocols, and EtherCAT is commonlyused in factory automation and semiconductor fields. MGate 5216 supportsboth Modbus RTU/ASCII client and MicroPython enabling programmingin proprietary serial protocol, so that you can easily connect yourModbus devices or serial devices to EtherCAT host.

The MGate 5216 EtherCAT gatewaysare designed for easy configuration and quick maintenance. An intuitiveweb console can be used to implement remote maintenance tasks. A comprehensivecollection of troubleshooting tools reduces configuration time andsystem downtime and the rugged design is suitable for industrial applications.

Easy Configuration

The MGate 5216 EtherCAT gateways have a user-friendlyinterface that lets you quickly set up protocol conversion routinesfor most applications, doing away with what were often time-consumingtasks in which users had to implement detailed parameter configurationsone by one. The MGate 5216 supports web console for remote maintenance.Encryption communication functions, including HTTPS, are supportedto provide better network security. In addition, system monitoringfunctions are provided to record network connections and system logevents.

Easy Maintenance With Built-in Functions
