Digi's external serial servers provide full network connectivity to virtually any serial device, including a reliable TCP/IP protocol stack, remote management capabilities, both serial and network interfaces, and Digi's patented RealPort® COM port redirector for a fully transparent COM or TTY connection.

    Digi's Industrial serial servers offer extended environmental options. 1 to 4 EIA-232 or MEI (232/422/485 selectable) serial ports are available. These products support: Industrial protocols including Modbus. Digi's RealPort driver for transparent connectivity using existing applications, and TCP or UDP socket connections. TLS, SSL or SSH based connections provide robust encryption.

  • Serial Device Server
    Digi Serial Servers connect critical equipment to applications, providing 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 port serial over Ethernet options with transparent connectivity for existing serial applications with Digi's RealPort driver, or via TCP or UDP sockets. TLS, SSL or SSH based connections provide robust encryption. 232-only and MEI (selectable 232/422/485 versions are available.
