Serial to Bluetooth
Bluetooth to serial RS-232 adapters convert serial communications over wireless bluetooth. Bluetooth has low energy consumption and is very useful in mobile applications. The maximum range for the standard antenna is about 328 feet but can the distance can be increased to about 1000 feet using higher gain antennas.
